Position Description
Webtrends is looking for an experienced digital marketing professional to lead the Ads Client Services team. This individual will report to the Webtrends Practice Director, Social Marketing Optimization and will be responsible for establishing and maintaining an efficient Client Services organization within the Ads product line.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage all operational aspects, such as staffing, project/task assignment, team development, and status reporting, of the Ads Client Services team to ensure business and product objectives. Manage, mentor and motivate a talented team of Account Managers, Analyst and Specialists.
Incorporate our existing products and services with emerging best practices, to provide leading edge, high value solutions to our clients.
Provide oversight and governance of all project pricing and budgets.
Represent Webtrends as a thought leader in the marketplace, and contribute to the mentorship of team members.
Build trusted client relationships resulting in deeper connections and increased revenue within client accounts.
Develop case studies, training materials, and conduct “brown bag” lunches.
Maintain awareness of industry best practices and business levers for a particular offering(s) and understand how Webtrends’ Practice Areas interact. Actively monitor and share industry news, digital marketing trends, industry tools, and internal cross-team key learnings.
Create acquisition marketing solutions for clients, leading both internal and external teams through strategic planning and execution.
Drive strategy and planning teams with client, agencies, and internal teams to establish strategic plans for acquisition initiatives across the client’s digital ecosystem.
Demonstrate innovation and strategic leadership by developing and delivering client facing presentations, Point of Views, business cases, and performance reports.
Collaborate with the Sales, Product, Engineering, and Social Marketing Optimization groups to ensure the Account Management resources during pre-sale, launch and operation of the accounts.
Deliver continuous feedback to the Product and Client Services team for product enhancements and provide guidance for devising an effective strategy for the clients’ digital marketing initiatives.
Identify, plan and implement processes and tools to ensure a scalable group that delivers to the service level agreement committed to clients.
Interaction:
This position is a client facing position and operates in a team-oriented environment. As a result, the incumbent must build and maintain strong and effective working relationships externally with clients and internally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Social Marketing Optimization groups.
Supervision:
This is a management position and will have 5 - 10 direct reports.
Required Skills/Education:
BA from an accredited school; MBA preferred.
5-10 years of interactive media industry experience, Marketing/Communications or Client Management experience.
3-5 years of experience with SEM, SEO, Landing page optimization, website analytics and Social advertising. Familiarity with the entire digital marketing landscape and how to integrate these mediums.
A command of SEM, SEO, SMO best practices, with an ability to incorporate them into program implementation is required.
2-5 years of experience leading, inspiring and developing a team of 5–10 individual contributors.
Experience delivering quantitative and ROI analysis.
Strong presentation and writing skills for client meetings and proposals.
A responsible team player with positive attitude, a high degree of personal integrity and a strong work ethic are essential.
Working Conditions:
This position works in an office environment with some travel required.
This position can be located in our San Francisco, CA or Portland, OR office.
Incumbent must pass background check.
