Full-time Online Marketing Manager - Newport Beach, CA

Sleepy Giant is looking for a Growth Monster to develop and execute strategies for generating sustainable growth for our games and entertainment properties, using a mix of user acquisition tactics and online marketing programs. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and a self-starter with entrepreneurial drive who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic work setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES


Create, implement, and manage the online marketing strategies and tactical execution plans to grow games and entertainment properties across all channels, coordinating with company stakeholders to ensure effectiveness
Develop and execute innovative user acquisition campaigns via a variety of channels, including viral initiatives, email marketing, CRM communications, and player referral systems
Assist with the creation and maintenance of community websites, working with the development team to continually evolve the sites’ user experience and registration process
Plan, evaluate, and manage analytics and funnel optimization programs to increase new users, repeat visits, viral distribution, and lifetime value
Implement SEO strategies and track the effectiveness of new and existing online campaigns
Drive performance-based programs including CPM/CPC/CPA-based advertising and paid-search campaigns
Oversee partnership engagements for affiliate and co-marketing programs
REQUIREMENTS


Undergraduate degree in new media, marketing, advertising, business, or related field
2 years of experience working in an online game company with a focus on growth hacking, acquisition marketing, or a closely related activity
Passionate about online games and entertainment
Experience running and managing online acquisition programs with an emphasis on CPA/CPI and CPC
Experience working with various ad networks and successful optimization of online advertising performance through quantitative metrics and ROI analyses
Strong understanding of SEO, and how to use SEO to scale acquisition marketing as well as to lower acquisition costs
Experience with analytics software (e.g. Tableau, MixPanel, Google Analytics)
Familiarity with various online email marketing solutions and campaign management platforms
Experience with website software and applications, both configuration and management
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects
