Waterfront Media and its flagship site, Everyday Health Network are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their team in Santa Clara, CA. The successful candidate will work with our editors and product managers to create a value preposition for other websites, radio & TV stations, authors, journalist or bloggers to mention our web site. In addition you will research our competition to find out why they have references from web sites, blogs, newspaper sites etc and approach them to get us a similar mention.
The ideal candidate will have a background in journalism or social sciences and experience in survey, research, analysis and reporting. You must have excellent communication skills, a background in editing and maintaining a website/blog/college newspaper, be familiar with social networking sites and extremely web savvy. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in internet marketing startups and are familiar with obtaining publicity and press.
