Online Marketing Manager - Wichita, KS

POSITION SUMMARY: As part of the internet boom of the late 1990’s TGW – The Golf Warehouse established itself early as a leader in driving sales growth through online marketing (OLM) channels. Today we are looking to continue that spirit of innovation and market dominance in the online retailing space. TGW is looking for an innovative and forward thinking person to take full ownership in driving year over year sales lifts in its current online marketing portfolio while constantly looking for new opportunities to expand OLM reach for TGW.com and its sister sporting goods retail sites.
It will take more than the ability to drive sales through affiliate marketing, behavioral retargeting, comparative shopping engines, marketplaces, and paid search to excel in this position. The right person for this position is one with an entrepreneurial nature that is not satisfied at the end of the day by simply maintaining what exists today. He/she is data-thirsty and will keep a persistent eye on the competitive landscape and find opportunities to drive online sales in new ways. The ideal candidate continuously tries new things and is not afraid to fail and continuously learns from mistakes.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and implement an annual business plan that targets key growth in the OLM channel
• Serve as the single day-to-day point of contact for all of our existing OLM vendor partners and internal stakeholders.
• Establish regular reporting that can be distributed throughout the company and support our data-driven decision-making culture.
• Identify new OLM growth opportunities for both existing and new channels.
• Monitor trends and make adjustments to marketing tactics based on analytical data.
• Measure and track ROI for all OLM efforts.
• Keyword generation, grouping, deployment, and bid optimization, including keyword ad copy and landing pages optimization
• Proactively identify trends and create models to predict and improve performance
KEY PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:
1. Increase OLM demand, while decreasing commercial investment (CI).
2. Increase measurable web traffic.
3. Optimize OLM initiatives with vendors, to maximize ROI.
4. Measure new customer acquisition
5. Sales return on investment in market building, promotion, and customer incentives on assigned accounts and segments
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5 years of previous online marketing management experience.
• Knowledge and experience with retail ecommerce marketing, emphasis in paid search, affiliate program management, comparative shopping engines.
• At least 2 years experience with paid search preferred including familiarity with Google AdWords, and Yahoo/Bing.
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills with particular experience mining data and developing conclusions based on Omniture, Google Analytics, or other web analytics platforms.
• Experience building and managing performance dashboards a plus.
• Must be innovative with a proven ability to grow business through new initiatives.
• Experience directly managing the forecast and budgets for multiple channels within a company that makes changes rapidly, and the ability to reforecast quickly as the business requires it.
• Previous experience and advanced qualifications with data warehouse and business intelligence analytical software
