To maximise business and profitability by tracking and analysing search engine marketing campaigns for various channels on search engines; specifically Google, Overture (Yahoo), Microsoft (MSN) and Miva.

Job responsibilities;

• Copywriting internet advertisements for new campaigns according to business strategy.


• Placing advertisements and checking positioning regularly, ensuring placing in line with criteria and costs.


• Maximising the profitability and return on investment across advertising campaigns.


• Monitoring, tracking, and analysing performance of campaigns.


• Maintaining an awareness of the commercial impact of advertising campaigns and the revenue they generate.


• Using internet Bid Management systems to pay for placements strategically.


• Using web-based statistical programs to analyse and report on profitability against spend and return.


• Taking decisions based on analysis of performance and action any changes.


• Working autonomously to identify areas of opportunity and areas for improvement.


• Responding to ad-hoc requests for analysis of various existing and new campaigns.


• Liaising across multiple disciplines to access and gather information; IT, Sales, Business Development, etc.


• Communicating regularly with Management and IT departments to maintain awareness of business strategy.
