Pronto is looking for an experienced online marketer with demonstrated expertise in SEO to lead the development and execution of our SEO strategy. The Director of SEO will serve as the primary business lead for SEO, and will liaise with diverse constituencies including Product, Technology, Marketing, and senior management to drive high quality traffic acquisition through natural search.

Title: Director of SEO

Reports to: Senior Vice President, Operations

Location: New York, NY

Responsibilities:
•Lead development and execution of SEO strategy
•Work effectively with diverse, cross-functional constituencies including Product, Technology, Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence, Marketing, and senior management teams, to drive SEO growth
•Define SEO success metrics, develop and manage reporting, and analyze and communicate performance to key stakeholders
•Define, prioritize, and manage execution of key SEO tactical initiatives, including keyword analysis, on-site optimizations, content development, site auditing, link-building, and competitive analyses
•Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to senior management
•Remain current on the latest industry trends, guidelines, and search algorithm changes


Qualifications:
•5+ years of SEO experience
•Deep expertise in search engine guidelines, algorithms, and ranking factors
•Strong background in web analytics, including expertise in Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools
•Knowledge of basic web design principles and technologies, and their SEO implications, including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, DNS, robots, etc.
•Proficient in quantitative analysis and Excel
•Excellent organizational and project management skills
•Strong leadership skills
•Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
•Results-oriented, entrepreneurial attitude
•Experience in e-commerce or lead-generation preferred
•BA/BS, MBA a plus
