Time Warner Cable’s East Region Business Services Marketing Department currently seeks a Director Online Marketing. Position can be located in any of our East Region offices Please find below a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position
PURPOSE:
Manage all East Region Commercial website and online related issues and capabilities including managing and driving new product web flow, integrated product web flow, product related education, and Product and Marketing landing page creation.Manage all site related development and enhancement activity. Manage all Billing, Provisioning, and Third Party relationship activities that impact or support online product marketing, education, or buy flow.
Location of position is negotiable to New York City, Charlotte, NC or Syracuse, NY.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage online media ad agency relationship to plan and execute an effective online and web strategy aimed at producing increased leads and buyflow results. Also includes weekly operational updates and monthly results review meetings to ensure proper agency spending levels, tactic response rates, and overall buyflow results. Also includes managing the collection of all East region related web analytics, analytic interpretation and driving optimizing solutions based on analytical discovery.
· Manage email campaign planning and execution including creative development, special online offers, landing page creation, and overall email distribution. Will need to acquire and build a database of email addresses of both customers and prospects in order to conduct ongoing email campaigns.
· Create and manage ongoing online media planning calendar to effectively communicate tactics and timing of media in the marketplace to inform and/or align with key stakeholders.
· Effectively manage regional web site content, “look and feel”, and overall functionality to provide a customer friendly interactive experience aimed at increasing product purchases through buyflow. Develop and work consistently with TWC corporate on-line and product groups to exchange and integrate regional market requirements with that of the larger corporate strategy to create a working 12 month roadmap for East region on-line solutions, including the “One URL” project.
· Manage ongoing expense budget for all online media spending, ensuring proper spending levels, reconciling media planned activity to actual placement and related expenses. Effectively account for all media timing differences and credit adjustments to proactively reallocate spending to areas of greater online lead generation opportunity on a weekly and monthly basis.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience and leadership in planning and implementing successful Online Marketing and Media planning and placement strategies in a Business to Business environment. Cable/telecommunications industry experience is a plus but not a requirement.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess experience managing and leading on-line systems and operations that drive customer engagement and product purchasing and account management. He/she will demonstrate a proven record of success in implementing pricing and packaging plans into online systems. In addition to specific experience integrating multiple consumer web-sites into a single experience.
· Effectively plans and executes a variety of online marketing strategies to increase online buyflow activity using email, search engine marketing, and web banner advertising. Monitors cost-effectiveness, analyzes results and recommends changes and new tactics.
· Previous experience in web site editing and landing page development.
· Experience in creating, implementing, and managing a B2B social media strategy.
· High degree of online media and creative agency management experience is required.
· Directs all purchases and placement of online media including; web banners and search engine marketing. Works with external vendors and corporate as necessary to design and/or update online creative.
· Provides constant accounting and forecasting versus budget, bids projects to various online/web creative vendors.
· Creates, maintains and distributes a calendar of all online marketing and online media activity planned and progress against plan.
· Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
· Effective public speaking skills and ability to represent Time Warner Cable Business Class.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Bachelors Degree required, MBA preferred.
· Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience required.
· Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience and leadership in planning and implementing successful Online Marketing and Media planning and placement strategies in a Business to Business environment.
