E-COMMERCE ANALYST / BUSINESS ANALYST – ONLINE SHOPPING – LONDON (REF: PR-000ADE, Closing Date: 17/02/2010)We have an opening for a Business Analyst to join a global online technology business whose bespoke e-commerce solutions power some of the world’s leading brands, retailers and other consumer centric organisations (Early Learning Centre, Peacocks, Peak Performance, Helly Hansen and many more). As a key member of the Business Management team you will be tasked with driving client businesses to exceed their own expectations in all aspects of their relationships, working on a cross-client basis liaising with both internal resources and clients. In particular you will lead analytical reviews with inputs into the analytics packs for both internal management and client audiences. Specific tasks and responsibilities include: • Utilization of internal data sources and web analytics tools (Omniture, Google analytics, etc) to build and maintain KPI’s. Analyzing customer experience and performing ad-hoc analysis on specific customer metrics.• Build and maintain Metrics/analysis tools to combine dashboards to be shared with the organization and with clients.• Quantify and report the impact of ongoing initiatives regularly.Your general responsibilities will include the following:• Providing recommendations to clients to improve business practices.• Working with Business Managers to implement recommendations.• Implementing and managing performance measurement tools. • Developing an expert level of knowledge in the company’s portfolio of online e-commerce tools.• Driving improvements in the reporting and software based processes.• Responsible for the timely resolution for both technology and operational queries.• Working alongside the Marketing team to evaluate and drive online marketing programs and strategies.• Working alongside the Technical team to drive scoping and implementation of projects to improve client’s ecommerce solution.We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a background in an online or high technology customer focused environment (demonstrable experience in B2C online transactional environments is highly desired). You will possess outstanding analytical skills, rigor in logical and quantitative reasoning with strong Excel modelling skills, knowledge of database management tools and excellent understanding of web analytics tools. You will have the ability to develop original ideas and solutions to difficult situations or problems whilst possessing the necessary drive essential to deliver against aggressive targets. You will be a good team player with a 'can do' attitude, attention to detail and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (ideally also German or French).With offices that span Europe, the US and the UK, our client employs over 4000 staff globally and is continuing to grow at a fantastic rate.
