Mediaworks are a leading Online Marketing company currently seeking a Junior SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) Consultant to join their team. The role will see you being based out of our newly refurbished modern offices on the team valley. The Junior SEO (Search Engine Optimisation ) role based in Newcastle/Gateshead and includes:
Tracking, maintaining, analysing web sites
Monitoring overall SEO campaign – keyword ranking, indexed pages and back links
Implementing On-page and Off-page SEO strategies
Communicating progress to clients and provide answers to SEO questions.
Researching new initiatives to improve SEO practices.
Ongoing Development of Internal Documentation
Knowledge of Internet and web development technologies: HTML, XHTML,CSS and PHP would also be desirable for this Junior SEO. Naturally you will have knowledge of the Search Engine Marketing industry, as well as passion and drive to excel in this fast paced environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
*To apply SEO knowledge to current link-building and SEO activities
*Perform proactive & targeted ‘link-building’ activities
*Syndicate content to relevant websites
*Arrange and negotiate placement of content on external websites
*Maintain content on company websites
*Assist in all other areas of SEO activity as they arise
*Support sales team with detailed research reports on prospective client websites
