Social Media Manager – Client Side – West London

The Company

My client is one of the world leading providers of University programmes and English Language courses across the globe. Due to success, this dynamic and forward thinking organisation have established and maintained sustained periods of growth and are continuing an aggressive recruitment drive throughout 2010. As a result they are looking to recruit an SEO Manager into the highly skilled, experienced team.

The Role

This is a newly created position with a great deal of autonomy which requires a social medial expert with entrepreneurial flair. You will have a true passion for social media and the role of emerging media within the context of the current digital landscape and will be savvy about international marketplaces. You will help us grow this channel by working with my clients Online Marketing team, global sales & CRM team as well as the in-house web design team.

Ø      Assess the potential opportunities using Social Media for my client in terms of providing information for potential, current and future students.

Ø      Develop my clients international social media strategic plan

Ø      Execute, manage and coordinate the plan internally with all business units

Ø      Manage a team of interns to help you roll out the plan in multiple markets and languages

Ø      Assess and report on the impact of actions taken and identify future growth opportunities

The Candidate

Ø      Expert on social media tools and channels — knows them and can sell the benefits to various business units and management

Ø      Ideally have leveraged multiple tools in Social Media - Communication, Collaboration, Multimedia, Reviews, and Entertainment.

Ø      Proven experience of implementing best practice Social Media research and outreach

Ø      Strategic and creative character

Ø      Proven track record in an international environment

Ø      Have a good knowledge of principles of SEO

Ø      Strong project management skills

Ø      Excellent communication skills

Ø      Public relations experience, a plus

Ø      One or more languages would be an advantage
