SEO Expert job description

The company is looking for an innovative, energetic SEO and Analytics Manager . Your job will be to attract, measure and expand the traffic .The ideal candidate is a creative and collaborative thinker, extremely organized and detail oriented, and able to keep up with the demands of a real-time ecommerce environment.  

Core responsibilities:

• Oversee all SEO practices

• Implement all SEO strategies

• Advise the CEO on new and better strategies

• Optimize and manage the implementation of analytics

• Deliver weekly and monthly reports and analysis on audience behavior and trends

• Support executive and product teams with data and insights as needed

• Design and develop specifications for multivariate tests, and analyze the results

• Improve quality and volume of data gathered at all points of contact

• Advise and implement link building strategy

• Possible additional responsibilities:

• Oversee SEM

• Requirements:

• Project management experience within SEO


• Experience with SEO software such as SE Nuke, Traffic Geyser, etc.


• Can make linkmap for minisite, mini hub, mini net, linkwheel


• • Excellent command of English language (verbal and written skills)


• • Ability to manage and optimize successful organic search campaigns on Google


• • Command of Keyword analysis, Google AdWords, Wordtracker, SEO etc


• • Adept at content development and link building


• • Proficiency in scrubbing, sanitizing, manipulating large bodies of data


• • Experience with a highly-customized web analytics software implementation (Omniture, WebTrends, Unica, etc.)


• • Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills


• Can work with Apple Computer’s Appleworks, PC’s MS office and linux’s Open Office


• Have experience working with Blogger.com, Wordpress, Joomla, Livejournal, Windows Live Spaces, B2evolution, oscommerce and its plug ins/themes


• Can work with SEO Related plugins for wp such as caffeinated content, Autoblogged.


• Efficient in domain management, configuring nameservers, cpanel configuration,DNS backup, registering domain names, web redirection and email setup.


• Have been working with SEO and its tools, Facebook friendbomber, Myspace friend blaster, Youtube view optimizer; Market samurai, spyfu, terapeak, hammertap,marketleap.com, niche browser and google secret niche finding formulas


• Have been working with Coffeecup buddle of softwares such as visual designer,banner maker and blog machine; And WYSWYG Web Builder, MS Office Expression and Adobe Dreamweaver.

• • 4-5 years in online media, in an online ecommerce environment


• • 2-3 years in a data-intensive environment


• • Proven track record of successful SEO strategy and implementation
