Coremetrics Search Marketing Services partners with client marketing team to optimize revenue from their search engine marketing (SEM) program.  Coremetrics Search Marketing Services leverages Coremetrics SEM and SEO solutions to indentify the client’s most effective keywords and applies best practices and testing methodologies that generate rapid results—maximizing client return on keyword buys.  Coremetrics Search Marketing Services supports the creation, management and optimization of successful PPC keyword campaigns for clients on Google, Yahoo!, Bing or AOL.


The charter of the group is to support new Coremetrics solutions clients by designing and managing their paid and natural search program. Once the client is up and running, Search Marketing Services assists them in taking search management in-house or transferring the service to an agency of their choosing. Coremetrics Search Marketing Services are an integrated set of best practices designed to build a client’s new program or optimize their existing search marketing services.



Search marketing services include:



  • Discovery of the keywords potential customers will use

  • Ad text and campaign creation consistent clients marketing voice

  • Program tracking to accurately report clients search marketing results

  • Landing page optimization

  • Bid management

  • Search query analysis

  • Day-parting strategies

  • A/B testing to strengthen conversion points

  • International or locally targeted campaigns to broaden marketing reach

  • Knowledge transfer to client’s internal search team or selected agency


Job Description:

The Director, Search Marketing will lead a team focused on managing search campaigns on behalf of Coremetrics’ clients. Additionally, the Director will set-up, create and execute online ad campaigns on behalf of assigned clients to achieve goals and objectives. This position requires a candidate that excels in management, client service, and analytics. The right candidate must be enthusiastic, pro-active, detail-oriented, and a hardworking professional able to work well in a team-oriented, client-focused environment.



Director, Search Marketing Primary Responsibilities:



  • Manage a team of account managers to execute on campaign objectives for clients.

  • Serve as team expert for search engine marketing, Coremetrics Search tools and technology, account management, editorial processes and analytics.

  • Manage a book of business consisting of assigned clients’ online search marketing campaigns.

  • Creation and management of employee development programs

  • Responsible for analyzing, recommending and implementing improvements to meet client online search marketing ROI/CPA objectives.

  • Overall management of clients online search marketing campaigns, including paid search, content, local, paid inclusion, etc.

  • Understand and manage client's media buying cycles, product/service update schedules, online marketing philosophy and goals, target demographics, etc.

  • Produce detailed campaign performance analysis and customer satisfaction metrics

  • Act as the client champion and agency representative to the search engines and ensure optimal campaign implementation.

  • Recruiting, hiring and training of new hires.

  • Represent their team on cross functional projects

  • Responsible for special projects as assigned.


Skills/Qualifications:


The successful candidate must have:



  • At least four years of online marketing experience

  • Account management/ client services experience

  • At least two year managing a fast-paced, quality-focused client services department

  • Proven history of managing a team to successfully attain or exceed aggressive goals

  • Outstanding leadership skills, including lead by example management style

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, MBA a plus.

  • Strong Excel and MS Office skills

  • Strong analytical experience

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Search Marketing campaign experience

  • Problem identifier and solver

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities

  • Passion for marketing and the Internet
