Title: Solution Consultant
Location: US - Western Region – San Francisco Bay Area preferred
Coremetrics is currently seeking a Solution Consultant in the Western Region, responsible for presenting product offerings in the best light to prospects and customers, evoking confidence in Coremetrics’ solutions and value, and removing technical objections in the sales cycle. As a Coremetrics Solution Consultant, you must have a strong desire to leverage your business, technical and sales skills, including the ability to uncover business requirements, develop technical sales strategy, and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address requirements and provide business value. The ability to establish the credibility of a trusted advisor to CMO’s and other senior Fortune 500 executives will enable you to excel in this role. Coremetrics is in a fast-paced high-energy market segment where candidates should be able to successfully balance multiple projects in a team-selling environment.
Responsibilities
- Uncover the prospect’s needs and establish Coremetrics’ product as the solution that best addresses those needs and provides the most business value
- Create and present product demonstrations and value propositions to every level of the organization, from senior executives to technical staff, across a wide range of companies and industries
- Identify technical and functional hurdles early in the deal cycle and creatively remove or work around them
- Attain and exceed quarterly and annual bookings goals and other objectives
- Be willing to travel to present onsite at client locations, at marketing events, and via web conference
- Respond effectively to RFPs and create other written solution messaging materials
- Build ROI and business justifications to quantify the benefits of deploying Coremetrics
- Work with internal groups (client services, product marketing, product) to support sales efforts and provide feedback on service delivery and product direction.
Requirements
- 5+ years pre-sales experience in enterprise software sales to Fortune 500 companies
- Demonstrated superior presentation, solution selling, written and oral communication skillsProven technical pre-sales over-achievement, preferably in the online marketing, web analytics, media, ecommerce, business intelligence, or other related verticals
- In-depth knowledge of direct marketing, behavioral targeting, content optimization, and customer analysis techniques and strategies
- In-depth knowledge of web, business intelligence, content management, ecommerce, CRM and order management systems
- JavaScript / HTML / XML / CSS scripting experience and working knowledge of relational databases and data warehouses
- Ability and energy to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced, team selling, self-directing environment
- Experience operating in the ASP/SAAS business model
- Bachelor’s degree is a must; graduate degree is a plus
