Position Summary:
The Senior Marketing Program Manager requires the proven skills and background to develop and deliver integrated marketing programs to generate quality leads and help close direct sales. The position requires someone who is quality driven, is detail oriented and continually strives to improve effectiveness, results and quality. Must have ability to adapt quickly to rapidly changing company and markets.
The position will require someone who is innovative, agile, positive, can work under pressure and keep a sense of humor. Someone who understands the bigger picture while managing the detail will be ideal in this role.
The ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people, understand their requirements and deliver actions and coordinate efforts across departments is essential. Solid understanding of sales processes and requirements, and general market and business landscape research and development.
The focus of the position is customer marketing—primarily creating programs to increase our footprint within our existing customer base and improving adoption of existing applications. However, the role also requires a strong background in developing a wide range of marketing programs and expertise in audience targeting as other programs will need to be developed on a as needs basis.
Proven experience in the following disciplines is required—messaging, content creation, integrated marketing techniques, identify and reach target audience, segmentation, creative development, execution, measurement and lead development. Deep domain knowledge of all marketing techniques, including online and traditional marketing, is required. This position requires someone to provide focus in the development of marketing programs and will require an in depth understanding and analysis of the software industry and a marketing background in the following areas:
- Customer marketing
- Industry marketing
- Executive marketing
- Enterprise marketing
The role will work with other countries to create campaigns that can be leveraged globally. The position will execute campaigns within North America. Position will require some travel within North America. Position Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility will be to deliver a customer marketing campaign plan to increase account penetration and adoption.
- Deliver customer segmentation and targeting strategy.
- Also responsible for the development and execution of other non-customer marketing programs as required.
- Appropriate evaluation and analysis of performance of executed programs to demonstrate their effectiveness in meeting goals and support future recommendations.
- Work closely with direct sales to get feedback on marketing program effectiveness. Evolve marketing program activities to ensure sales alignment.
- Manage and provide direction to external agencies to assist in delivering company standard programs.
- Be able to quickly translate sales requirements into business or industry solutions and ultimately marketing programs.
- Manage programs to aggressive timelines and budget.
