We are seeking an extraordinary marketing mind with the passion and creativity to capture the attention of consumers looking for insurance. We need an expert with HANDS-ON search engine marketing experience, including but notlimited to: keyword optimization, ad design and optimization, landing page optimization, quality score improvement, and multi-variate (A/B) testing of both landing pages and online advertisements.
The position calls for someone who has managed largecampaigns.
If you have created PPC automated software or have used PPC automated software, this is a “plus.”
This position is for a talented individual to manage and execute search engine marketing strategies under the direction of the Director of Internet Marketing.
This role will include managing the current search engine marketing strategy as well as expanding it to include new brands. You should have the ability to generate robust reports to management. You will manage a multi-million dollar annual budget and this should consistently grow as needs require.
You will be working heavily on setting up advertising campaigns with search engines at the expert, hands-on level. A sound knowledge of landing page design (A/B testing methods) for lead generation is also a huge part of the position.
The firm is continually working on a very robust Web 2.0 initiative and is constantly bringing new advertising partners into our network, so knowledge in this area is highly beneficial.
Any individual with experience limited only to reading/analyzing reports and directing others (such as advertising agencies, third-party analysts, or members of a team) as to budget requirements and goals does not
qualify for this position. We ARE NOT looking for someone that lacks the direct hands-on experience of delivering effective online marketing campaigns.
The Search Marketing Manager will work to optimize all paid search marketing campaigns and will assist with setting strategy and adjusting to changes in market dynamics.
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 3 years experience within the paid search (SEM)field. Google Adwords Certification is preferred.
• MUST HAVE hands-on experience optimizing web-basedmarketing campaigns with Google, Bing, and other major websites and search engines capable of delivering ads effectively.
• You should be a self-starter and motivated tosucceed. Excellence should be a key driver.
• Possess a strong marketing foundation based on analyticsand is savvy in understanding how marketing analytics (customer acquisition costs, performance metrics, website traffic metrics, e-mail marketing response metrics etc.) reflect the success of the marketing strategy.
• Able to demonstrate a solid history of writing and testing
creatives.
• Proves to have an expert understanding of customer acquisition, and direct response online marketing.
• Possess a solid online marketing background and have demonstrated success with metrics.
• Must be exceptionally smart and be able to leverage analytics to drive marketing efforts.
• You will need to create innovative, highly relevant, accountable, and non-traditional marketing strategies.
EDUCATION
• BA/BS highly preferred.
