Full-time Digital Account Executive based in Manchester UK

My client is a media planning and buying agency. They have offices in Scotland and Manchester with around 100 employees and a very low staff turn over. They have around 300 clients and have been established since before 2000. This award winning agency are very staff and employee focused, providing a great, high energy and a fast paced environment. They have 9 divisions including, planning, buying, strategy, digital, direct and data planning. They won Sunday Times Top 100 Best Small Companies to work for in the last 4 years.


As an Account Executive, you are a key member of the Digital team and will assist the Digital Account Director in the day to day running of larger accounts but you will be key point of contact for Communication Planners. You will take full responsibility for smaller clients and look after the day to day running of their full digital media mix. You will play a pivotal role in the launch and management of online advertising campaigns. For smaller clients you will plan/ present and deliver accurate online media schedules, negotiate best possible rates and discounts for a variety of payment methods and attend client meetings. For larger clients you will help the Digital Account Director respond to briefs and attend client meetings when required.


To be considered for the role you must have agency or client-side experience, this should include online planning. You must have experience of buying and a good understanding of online planning, paid search and trafficking. You must have a willingness to develop presentation and client management skills, excellent attention to detail, as well as good written and verbal communication. Must have a good working knowledge of all MS Office Products including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. You must be passionate and knowledgeable about online media and technology be keen to develop and quick to learn. You will have a minimum of 1-2 years account management experience and ideally will have knowledge of the full digital mix, including SEO, PPC, Social Media and Display. You will be working with some fantastic brands so ideally should be able to hit the ground running.
