I am currently working with a Boutique Agency based in Manchester who have been established for coming up to 5 years. They have had a fantastic few years and have really grown from strength to strength, with great client wins and developing a brilliant reputation in the industry. They now sit at around 15 members of staff with talented SEO & PPC people in-house and model themselves on providing sound, professional campaigns and search solutions. Their main focus is PPC & SEO with web design also included. They have already won awards for their work and are recognised as one of the best companies in SEO in the UK. The company is still owner-managed with the Directors having a daily input into the running of the business. The company has a really friendly, family environment with a close knit team who socialise together on a regular basis.

Already in 2010 they have seen great success with further client acquisitions and fantastic repeat business. The following months are going to see continued growth not only with the business but also in-house with more recruitment plans in place. They are now looking to recruit an Online Marketing Director to sit above the Online Marketing Manager and report straight into the Owners of the company. This is a very exciting opportunity and one that will be the pinnacle of your career.

The role is focused on Online Marketing Strategy, Development and Training of the Team, Client-Facing, Account Management and Business Acquisition. The role will suit someone from a Digital background as you must be able to talk at great length and in great detail about SEO & PPC, who has either been within a strategic, account management or business development role. You must be an excellent communicator and highly professional as you will be client-facing throughout most of your role. You must have already a proven track record in developing a company’s online marketing strategy ideally within an agency environment. You must be highly passionate and enthusiastic about digital as you will be responsible for pushing the company forward; supported by the Directors and Online Marketing Manager. The role will offer great autonomy and will allow you to really stamp your mark on an organisation, free of red tape and already with a growing and fantastic reputation. You will be highly rewarded in the role and will receive an excellent package with share options in the future.
