Search Engine Optimization Specialist Job Description:
Experienced SEO Specialist with knowledge of both onsite and offsite optimization techniques.
Review and analyze web sites from a technical and architectural standpoint to identify SEO problems and hindrances.
Develop and implement SEO recommendations for improvement and better optimization.
Work within our marketing department and advise on different search engine optimization, social media and web site design ideas to improve online visibility for our products.
Additionally, duties may include keyword research, meta tag and content optimization strategies and recommendations; some link building.
Proficient Knowledge of: PhotoshopDreamweaverOnline SEO Tools and Software For Collecting & Analyzing Data For SEO
Requirements:
Good copywriting skillsMust know how to do a keyword analysis
Must be familiar with link buildingMust be willing to do the details – very detail orientedMust be able to show at least two successfully optimized sites
Must be knowledgeable of SE algorithms and relevancy determinationMust possess keen knowledge of coding and the ability to optimize coding for SEO purposes (HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, 301/302 redirects)
Knowledge of ethical Search Engine Optimization tactics and guidelinesCommand of common issues and SEO-pitfalls
Experience with Social Media networks for businesses – Twitter, MySpace, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
Analytical thinker – able to come up with solutions – Problem solver
Quick learner – self motivated and able to multitaskHave creativity and marketing knowledgeMust be a team player
PRIOR SEO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

This position is an addition to the team. While we are looking for a technically strong person, the ideal candidate knows when to take charge but can follow direction, is creative, is a team player and is also a good communicator.
Health and dental benefits are available after 3 months. There is no overtime, evening or weekend work. The initial working hours for this position will be 8 hours between 6:00 am – 5:00 pm, M-F.
Compensation DOE. This is not a telecommuting or contract position; we are seeking a local applicant for this full time position.
