Job Description:  We are looking for an individual with SEO/SEM experience to help execute the day-to-day functions that support Internet marketing programs and associated marketing campaigns. This is a hands on position that includes activities such as keyword analysis, SEO and Social Media campaigns and link building.

Experience:

• 2+ years of relevant SEO experience across the major search engines for a medium to large size company.


• Proven track record of results driving website traffic.  Ability to work in a fast-paced, aggressive growth environment.


• Familiarity with paid search programs such as Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing and Microsoft adCenter is preferred.


• Monitor the ever-changing world of search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing) to ensure compliance with guidelines and algorithms.


• Knowledge of link building strategies, XML Sitemaps, Google Analytics, Social Media and Webmaster Tools.


• Excellent communication (including verbal and written) and organizational skills.

Essential Duties:

·         Some knowledge of HTML, DHTML, CSS.

• Optimize landing pages to ensure web traffic growth.


• Generate new sources of content for the website for SEO.

·         Working with the Merchandising team on content development, categorization and taxonomy rules.

·         Keyword research for multiple sites, including meta-tags, title tags and headers.

·         Analyze data and make recommendations to optimize program.

·         Conduct competitor analysis.

·         Monitoring search engine ranking.

·         Utilizes statistical analysis to optimize marketing programs based on current/past delivery trends.

·         Creating search engine site maps.

·         Link building and high end PR & Social networking.

·         Paid links acquisition.

·         Article submission/trading.

·         Search engine/directory submissions.

·         Social networking bookmarking, traffic monitoring (Twitter, Facebook, Digg, etc.).

·         Competency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.

Tracking and Reporting of all SEO activities.
