Full-time Sr. Search Account Manager, SEO

Senior Search Managers work closely with internal teams to ensure that SEM clients receive the best possible level of service, and that client needs are effectively addressed.


 


  • Leading the strategy behind each specific paid search campaign by providing budget estimates, competitive analysis information, and insight into the category

  • Developing, implementing, and managing paid search campaigns on behalf of agency clients

    • Working with clients and internal teams to determine campaign objectives, establish search-specific key performance indicators, and timelines

    • Developing and continually expanding keyword lists

    • Writing titles and descriptions for paid search text link ads

    • Organizing and managing sub-campaigns

    • Selecting landing pages for different ad groups

    • Bid management

    • Uploading and implementing campaigns on search engines

    • Managing campaign budgets via daily budget logs

    • Ensuring success against client goals via ongoing optimization



  • Maintaining relationships with the main search engine partners (Google, Yahoo!, MSN, Ask) and a working knowledge of each engine interface, as well as an understanding of new and evolving product offerings

  • Acting as the face of the company to our clients in regards to search recommendations by providing continuing education around SEM, sharing POVs and whitepapers on search-specific tops, and conducting competitive audits or developing specific presentations as requested

  • Helping to facilitate cross-departmental collaboration by working with team members to craft synergistic plans and reports, and discuss ongoing campaign performance and opportunities for growth

  • Performing in-depth quantitative analyses of marketing campaigns

    • Providing feedback and insight on reports that will be delivered to clients

    • Implementing necessary optimizations as a result of ongoing performance analysis

    • Utilizing various reporting interfaces and campaign management software as applicable



  • Managing career path and workload of Search Coordinator

  • Establishing an understanding of agency and Search team processes and participation in training of new SEM employees on these procedures.

  • Required



    • 3-5 years online marketing experience including campaign development and performance analyses.

    • More than 2 years direct experience in search engine marketing.

    • Exceptional quantitative analytical skills and aptitude including intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

    • Minimum one (1) year experience in a client-facing position.

    • Strong software use skills including in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access), and aptitude to quickly learn new tools.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills, including extremely strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • Ability to handle multiple assignments with effective resolution of conflicting priorities.

    • Exceptional problem-resolution skills including the ability to think creatively in the development of ideas/solutions that will contribute value in a dynamic, client-centered environment.

    • Ability to work well in a team and shine as an individual.

    • High comfort level utilizing the internet as a research and/or shopping tool.

    • Bachelor’s Degree.

    • Within online marketing experience, emphasis on analyzing performance and optimizing marketing campaigns.

    • Strong technical aptitude including some ability to understand basic website programming language.

    • Basic financial analysis skills.

    • Experience with the Atlas, Marin, and Omniture suite of products
