Siren Interactive, a leader in online healthcare relationship marketing, is looking for a Web Analytics & Search Marketing Manager t to join our dynamic organization. The Web Analytics & Search Marketing Manager is part of the Account Planning team and will be primarily responsible for helping understand the effectiveness of our relationship marketing efforts for client brands. This role will be responsible for establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and producing insights that influence site optimization and promotion strategies. This will include creating reports and analyses, creating and managing Paid Search campaigns, managing the integrity of site tagging and using data to drive decision making across the organization. This role reports to the Director of Search & Innovation and will be the lead for the agency’s analytics and PPC campaigns.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES - WEB ANALYTIC
Measure success against objectives for all interactive marketing campaigns (websites, blogs, email, etc.) for specialty pharmaceutical brands
• Deliver insights that help internal team and clients understand behavior of visitors to our site
• Provide monthly internal reports and quarterly client presentations• Proactively perform root cause analysis to provide insight into performance when new trends emerge
• Use data to challenge the status quo and inform optimization of sites• Focus the account teams on meaningful metrics to facilitate objective evaluations of strategies and key initiatives
• Prioritize and manage ad-hoc analyses and reporting to cross-functional business partners
• Partner closely with internal and external development teams on tagging and enhancements to WebTrends and Google Analytics reporting suites and any third-party integrations
• Manage relationships with key vendors (WebTrends, Google, etc)
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES - SEARCH MARKETING
• Create, implement and measure all Paid Search/Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns for specialty pharmaceutical brands focusing on rare disorders, such as hemophilia
• Ongoing optimization of PPC campaigns to maximize KPIs and ensure efficient use of budgets
• Collaborate with account teams and director on strategy
• Provide insights that inform organic search strategy
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years marketing analytics and/or search marketing
• Natural curiosity and affinity for data, analysis and quality monitoring
• Extremely detail-oriented, organized and highly motivated with accurate input and proof reading skills
• Knowledge of a wide range of principles, technical methods and practices of web analytics and search marketing
• Ability to sift through detailed information, weigh conflicting priorities, identify and analyze interrelationships and to interpret abstract concepts and communicate results in an easy to understand manner
• Strong time management skills including ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Must be proficient in WebTrends, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Yahoo! Advertising and Microsoft adCenter
INDUSTRY EXPERTISE
• Pharmaceutical experience preferred
• Experience in rare and chronic disease marketing a plus
