Job Desc:            

As our Link Ninja and highly prized member of a growing SEO team, you will be focused on generating high quality inbound links for all of our TTR web sites.  You need to be part detective since the job requires you to find out the other web sites that are the best sources of inbound links for our web sites.  You need to be part archeologist, since you’ll have to uncover who controls the ability to provide the link and how to reach them.  And you need to be part salesman because once you’ve identified the right person to contact, you’ll have to reach out, get past the gatekeepers and cajole he/she into giving us that link.  Needless to say, personality is important, because the role requires that you be equally as comfortable speaking to someone on the phone as you are writing an email. 

Responsibilities:

•  Monitor TTR’s competing web sites for inbound links

•  Research and identify potential high quality link partners for TTR web sites

•  Contact potential link partners and entice them to link back to TTR web sites

Requirements:

•  Minimum 3 years of SEO experience with at least 2 years focused specifically on link development

•  Experience with developing and implementing link building strategies

•  Self starter approach, with ability to consistently meet and exceed objectives

•  Knowledge of technical aspects of Search Engines and an understanding of how Search Engines and their spiders crawl links

•  Demonstrated track record of creative problem solving

•  Up to date on current SEO trends and technologies

Optional:

•  Comprehensive understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript

•  Familiarity with Social Media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Yahoo Video, etc.)

•  Familiarity with Blogs, Social Bookmarking (Digg, Stumbled Upon, Redd It, etc)  and User Generated Content sites

Location:

Positions are available in Ogden, UT, American Forks, UT or New York City.  No paid relocation.
