We are an SEO and PPC agency based in central London with PLC clients and with very interesting projects, and are looking for a high quality SEO expert to be responsible for our growing SEO department.

At Orchid Box we have developed in house search engine tools to perform smart keyword research and competitive analysis. We are the creators of “page rank crawler” and we have developed an SEO dashboard (freeseo.co.uk) and a local listing / directory / review framework (secretsalons.com)

Job Description:

Initially you will be working closely with Frank Our company Managing Director and SEO guru.The tasks assigned to you will be varied and consistently motivating and challenging because of the diversity of clients we have; your tasks could include but are not limited to: keyphrase research, technical site reviews, linkbuilding and competitor analysis.One of the most important responsibilities you will be given is to prepare and write up the monthly reports which we then send out to our clients. The reports outline the key activities completed by the lead SEO over the course of the month, indicating the business results they are seeing and any updates on changes in their industry and the wider world of SEO. For this aspect of the role we ideally hope to recruit someone who has experience in technical writing either academically or in their career to date.As this is initially an entry-level position you will be provided with sufficient training in order to become competent in using the necessary tools to fulfil this role. The team here are always on hand to explain processes and you will be assigned a line manager who will track your progress on a month to month basis and will act as an advisor to you.The role is based in our London office and is full-time. You will be working with people who have a wealth of knowledge and expertise.

Skills / Experience:

We are looking to find an individual who has excellent communication skills and a good eye for detail. We would expect you to be the type of individual that actively reads about what’s happening all the time in the SEO world. You will be a keen player in the online world, engaging in twitter and other social media outlets.
