The role – Overview: You will form part of a SEO team working closely with the Online Marketing department following an agile marketing methodology. You will be involved in the marketing and promotion of WiseStep across different channels of marketing. You will work closely with the development and testing team to ensure requirements are understood and met, and actively participate in daily/iteration meetings. The successful applicant will be a bright, enthusiastic graduate with good knowledge on Search Engines and latest SEO methodologies. Responsibilities: • On-page and off-page optimization of the website • Performing keyword research and analysis for better ranking. • Geographic Search Optimization, proficient with Google Webmaster tools, Analytics, Sitemaps, 301 Redirects, mod_rewrite, Web 2.0 Techniques, etc. • Keyword Analysis and clear understanding of Social Media Marketing. • Social Media Marketing to promote website across different channels like Face book, LinkedIn, Twitter, Xing, etc to establish as a brand. • Clear understanding and knowledge of Social Media Privacy Policies, Terms and Conditions • RSS Feed submissions and Article submissions • Develop affiliate, co-branding and partner relationships • Analyze keywords on the website and suggest new keywords depending the search and volume of traffic using various keyword tools. • Regularly updated with Google, Yahoo, Bing Algorithm changes • Content Writing for promotion as and when required • Work on PPC campaign setup, Ad copy creation, Campaign setup, Analyze campaign performance, etc Specific Job Skills: Ideally you will have a technical degree Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience in social media optimization and content writing skills is a plus Good To have: Prior online marketing experience with an online or services company Segmentation, Custom Report creation, Goals setup with Google Analytics
