Full-time Senior SEO Strategist

Red Bricks Media is seeking an exceptional Senior SEO Strategist for our San Francisco office. The Sr. SEO Strategist will direct SEO Analysts in the optimization of our clients’ digital assets. The ideal candidate will be fearless in recommending the best SEO strategies and will have a deep understanding of how organic search can integrate with overall digital strategies. Innovation is critical and the ability to thrive in an evolving and fast paced field is a must. This role is client facing and will be the primary voice for SEO across all stakeholders in an organization. The Sr. SEO Strategist reports to the Director of SEO, and will be responsible for keeping the team abreast of team work, employee, and client developments. Responsibilities: - Work across client web development, editorial, marketing, brand, legal, and other teams to implement search engine optimization recommendations such as: - Keyword research and specifications - Site audits for SEO best practice compliance - IA and site design recommendations - Navigation and conversion analysis - Link analysis and building - Identifying and resolving issues with JavaScript, Flash, CSS, etc - Identify opportunities to improve organizational and process enhancements that support SEO - Strong coordination skills and an ability to balance delivery dates for multiple clients. - Integrate strategies and recommendations into other active marketing channels such Paid Search and Social Media - Ability to manage complex reporting and garner actionable insights from data - Help build and improve internal SEO processes - Lead the team in keeping up to date in the latest best practices and trends - Support new business opportunities Requirements: - 3+ years of Search and/or Digital media experience - Knowledge of SEO best practices, concepts, statistics, and trends - Web development skills including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Flash - Web platform experience including CMS and web server configuration - Knowledge of SEO tools, blogs and online publications - Previous experience with web analytics packages such as Google Analytics, Coremetrics, or Omniture - MS Office proficiency - Strong quantitative skills and analytical abilities - Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities - Solid verbal and written communication skills - Presentation skills are a must - A track record of success and increasing responsibility - A self-starter with a strong drive for results and building client value - Ability and desire to thrive in a constantly changing industry For further consideration, please submit your resume to careers [at] redbricksmedia.com.
