Here is some of what you would be expected to do each day:

• Implement creative SEO and social media strategies for B2B, B2C and B2P clients with a strong understanding of the different needs and audiences for each business type


• Facilitate client discussions, formulate in depth web analytics analysis and designreporting of KPIs and other core metrics.


• Use social media sites like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter to generate traffic and leads.


• Use emerging Web 3.0 verticals like the mobile web, widgets, and cross-site interactive platforms like iFrame based technologies.


• Use  systems like Omniture, HBX, Core Metrics, Google Analytics and Web Trends for reporting.


• Creation of keyword focused text for social media efforts, site content, companion blogs, ad copy, newsletters, press releases, RSS feeds, etc.


• Conceptualizing, planning and organizing brand development and promotion bydeveloping new media communication strategies.


• Social profile creation and management; growing social network across platforms and elevatingbrand presence by sharing relevant content and building community


• Handling multiple projects independently, working with a diverse team of highly skilled SEMs, and structuring tasks for maximum productivity.


• Proactively seek information and clarification to ensure work product delivered meets client and internal expectations


• Assist in current or new client business development/proposals as needed


• Navigate a variety of search analytics tools to mine the appropriate performance data (experience with Google Analytics, Omniture, CoreMetrics, and other analytics programs an asset)


• Be proactive and innovative with solutions to meet client goals


• Participate in client meetings and conference calls


• Demonstrate a strong focus on client satisfaction


• Effectively communicate the search marketing process to clients


• Work closely with other team members to understand and meet client goals


• Stay abreast of latest trends in the industry with constant research in the SEM community; implement strategies accordingly


• Develop and improve processes, policies and procedures


• Attend conferences, workshops and meetings to network with clients and colleagues and keep abreast of current information and developments in the field.

Here are some of the things we’re going to be looking for on your resume:

• 2+ years experience in SEO, social media and web analytics


• Knowledge of social networking sites


• Knowledge of online communities and community websites


• Well versed with blogging and online blogging tools


• Complete knowledge of social bookmarking, video sharing and photo sharing


• Knowledge of RSS and XML sitemaps for surfacing content


• Well versed in viral marketing techniques


• Strong understanding of the App marketplace and the mobile web


• Advanced competence in web analytics reporting and analysis


• Strong understanding of how social media interacts with traditional SEO


• Excellent time management skills on both the project and personal levels


• Self motivated with strong attention to detail


• Must be an early adopter of emerging technologies and web innovations
