Affiliate Marketing Program Manager

AREA203 Marketing is looking for an Affiliate Marketing Program Manager to join our quickly expanding team. We are interested in hiring an experienced individual who will execute and oversee programs to meet client ROI and growth goals. This person will answer directly to the Affiliate Marketing Manager.

Essential Functions:
- Assist in recruitment of publishers
- Report program performance
- Oversee and monitor the development of program growth strategies
- Develop communication strategies
- Maintain in-depth understanding of company technology and clients’ products and services
- Develop and implement process improvements
7. Work closely with internal departments to develop and launch desired online marketing campaigns and promotions with a consistent voice across channels
8. Meet monthly and quarterly revenue and profitability goals
9. Stay abreast of changes and trends in the online and affiliate marketing industries, identify best practices, and determine how to apply them to clients’ businesses
- Participate in the development and implementation of short-term and long-term strategies, goals and objectives
- Exceptional business judgment and analytic ability
- Strong initiative and willingness to approach work with a sense of urgency
- Ability to mobilize a team toward achieving results
- Hold weekly meetings with team members to review client program performance
- Help develop client presentations by providing understanding of client business and objectives
- The ability to prioritize and strategize based on corporate goals
- Mentor junior team members
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess strong business ethics; be reliable and dependable
- Internet industry management experience a plus
- Attend and participate in team meetings, training seminars and workshops
- Occasional travel to industry conferences
- Additional duties as assigned
Skills Required:
1. Knowledge of the affiliate marketing channel

- Exceptionally organized self-starter who can work independently, execute quickly, move to the next task and follow through
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to manage and organize multiple projects

- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Proficiency in MS Office, general knowledge of Internet and online services
- Intuitive/creative thinker
- Understanding and insight regarding effective online marketing campaigns

- Results oriented and fact-based decision-making skills
- Ability to analyze potential opportunities and program effectiveness
- Ability to build strong relationships at all organizational levels, both internally and externally
Experience Required:
1. Bachelor’s Degree required
2. A minimum of 5 years experience in affiliate marketing, preferably in a high growth B2C market
3. Knowledge of Omniture and other web analytics tools a plus
4. Account management experience
