AmericanMuscle.com, the leader in aftermarket Ford Mustang parts, is seeking a full time SEO specialist. Under the supervision of the Marketing VP, this position is a key part of our marketing team and responsible for executing SEO and link building strategies. The primary focus of the SEO team is to increase organic search traffic to AmericanMuscle.com as well as our other automotive ecommerce stores.  Functions of the position include working with automotive related websites on online advertising deals, analyzing keyword value and executing ongoing search strategies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Link building and relationship building
  
  
  
  • Working with hundreds of automotive websites to build links
  
  
  • Analyzing websites to determine their link value
  
  
  • Negotiating online advertising deals
  
  
  • Building relationships with important Mustang forums and websites
  
  
  • Working with other in-house marketing teams on promotions
  
  
  
  


• Keeping up-to-date on the search industry
  
  
  
  • Staying current with the authoritative search industry blogs
  
  
  • Participation in weekly search meetings
  
  
  • Discussion on in-house search forums
  
  
  • Assisting in developing our ongoing search strategies
  
  
  • Day to day interaction with proven SEOs – 10yrs combined experience
  
  
  
  


• Implementing SEO strategies and best practices
  
  
  
  • Analyzing keyword value and conducting keyword research
  
  
  • Implementing on-site SEO best practices
  
  
  • Running weekly and monthly organic search reports
  
  
  • Using reports to assist in day to day decision-making
  
  
  • Fielding search related questions from in-house teams

Requirements

·                     Education:  Undergraduate degree in business or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

·                     Experience:   1+ year of natural search experience

·                     Other:

• Analytical, time management, interpersonal and problem solving skills required.


• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel. 

·         Ability to multi-task and to meet deadlines in a fast paced team environment
