Full-time Marketing Manager - Customer Acquisition, Chicago, IL

MORExchange, a direct-response consumer mortgage company with headquarters in Chicago, is looking for a skilled online acquisitions manager with demonstrated experience improving new member registration efficiency through landing page and registration flow optimization. Your responsibilities will also include helping to increase site traffic by your contribution to our SEO and other online marketing efforts. The ability to collaborate with multiple departments and translate Tech Speak into Marketing Speak is vital for this role. This is a hands-on function with the opportunity to grow into a more strategic, campaign-generating role in the future.


Responsibilities:



  • Understand effective Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy, and collaborate with key departments and vendors to ensure organic search is a key part of overall project strategy.

  • Conduct competitive research and keyword analysis.

  • Continuously optimize and update site content, including META data, page content, articles, and blogs to ensure maximum rankings for targeted keywords.

  • Analyze and translate quantitative and qualitative data from web analytics tools into actionable SEO and online marketing strategies.

  • Implement and analyze day-to-day a/?b and multivariate testing strategies - from pulling data to recommendations for optimization - while interfacing with technical team and business analytics.

  • Recommend optimization to our existing registration processes.

  • Understand impacts to non-member experience in an ever-progressing environment (including SEO, Facebook, CM technology).

  • Implement and manage social media strategies to increase site traffic and keyword rankings.

  • Implement and manage ad-serving to produce actionable results.

  • Manage relationships with industry blogs and sites to ensure inclusion.


Qualifications:



  • A thorough understanding of organic search and demonstrated experience in SEO strategy and social media is absolutely essential.

  • 2-5 years of online marketing experience, preferably in a direct response environment.

  • 1-3 years experience a/b testing, multivariate testing, usability testing, and site behavior/path analysis, optimizing a consumer-focused web experience.

  • Previous experience with online subscriptions/registration models.

  • Superior communication skills, particularly written skills such as professional/technical blogs.

  • Knowledge of ad-serving tools such as Double-Click & Atlas.

  • Knowledge of web analytics software such as Google Analytics.

  • Start-up experience highly preferred.

  • BA/BS required, MBA preferred.
