GAMES ANALYST – (ONLINE GAMING) - LONDONWe are looking for a talented Games Analyst with experience in social gaming, social media and social networks to join an award-winning digital production team. This exciting new position will see you analyse, track and gauge performance of a high profile online game (Coronation Street). More... Based near Waterloo, on the South bank, our client is a major commercial UK media brand that has an established online presence which is accessed by millions, daily. Joining their digital production team the Games Analyst will be responsible for analysing, documenting and proposing solutions that will provide the highest ROI for our client’s investment and marketing efforts. The Games Analyst will need to fully understand the overall objectives of the game and its appeal to produce meaningful insights and solid recommendations to improve player acquisition, retention & engagement and monetisation. Further, this will include making recommendations to drive new features, activities and mini-games as well as analysing, designing and testing various pricing strategies. The Games Analyst will work closely with project managers and 3rd party developers to define business and technical requirements for integrating tracking into games as well as working closely with the marketing department and producers to identify new opportunities for brand partners. To qualify for this position you should be highly analytical with a background in business intelligence, specifically for a online/web-based business and have the ability to present and communicate data, trends, insights and recommendations coherently and logically both in writing and verbally. You should also have:
- Knowledge of metrics used for online businesses including audience growth, clickstream, marketing effectiveness, ROI, conversion funnels
- Experience in corporate strategy, finance, or marketing in a consumer web or games industry with substantial data and analytics responsibilities
- In-depth knowledge and experience with online gaming business models (free-to-play, pay-to-play, virtual goods and currency, etc.).
- Experience in analysing online games, social widgets and applications. Specific experience in casual Flash games targeted toward women, is a major plus.
You must also be familiar with Coronation Street storylines and characters. Passionate Corrie fans, a plus!
