Covario is looking for a Social Media Group Lead to join its growing Client Services group.


The Social Media Group Lead is responsible for helping shape excellent social media campaigns to increase market space penetration. This role will have substantial responsibility for advancing thought leadership, driving consistency and innovation in social engagement executions and growing social engagement capabilities for our clients. Creating more high-touch customer experiences to drive community, commerce, and brand advocacy across multiple social media platforms to help Covario clients achieve its online marketing goals. The ideal candidate must have a passion for using social media channels as a means to communicate with online audiences and a deep understanding of what motivates people to engage with brands through various social media platforms.


Responsibilities:Strategic management of existing client relationships- providing thoughtful leadership and understanding of their marketing strategies. This includes conducting in-person meetings, presenting results and making presentations.Manage overall social campaign strategies and implementation across a range of search engines. This includes keyword research & development, ad copy creation, tagging and trafficking across a range of search engines.Research innovations in emerging technologies that enable personalized service across multi-platform customer engagement programs.Monitor customer engagement and identify new ways to activate participation and feedback.Measure the impact of all plans based on various metrics (e.g., online conversations, tonal sentiment, viral impact, search visibility, views, reach, registrations, installs).Reach out to and build relationships with top bloggers and local community groups.Provide performance data from search engines and web analytics for campaign reports.Monitor campaign results, analyze key metrics, and optimize click-through and conversion rates to effectively meet or exceed client objectives.Develop bid management strategies across search engines, including formulation of campaign optimization plans.Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends, keeping clients apprised and delivering POVsCultivating new business opportunities within existing accounts; working closely with Sales to target/close prospects.


Minimum Qualifications:Need to have extensive experience and quantifiable success in the social media arenaAbility to drive the strategy of internal organizations Team lead experienceClient facing abilities; help sell into clients Must have solid experience managing and executing consumer social media campaignsProven digital experience launching and growing social networking initiatives across online and mobile channelsCreative and proactive communication skills to move new ideas and enhance company strategic goalsThe right candidate will be comfortable in the Web 2.0 environment, including SEO, SMO, user-generated content, online newswires, social bookmarking and networking sites blogs, micro blogs, forums, video sharing, pod casting, and email distribution.Strong analytical skills with experience analyzing large dataset Web analytics, Bid management tools and reporting experience preferredMust be detailed oriented, have strong presentation and project management skills and excellent verbal and written communication skillsSelf-directed and an enthusiastic team player


Preferred Experience (not required):Advertising agency experience is idealExperience working with Omniture, WebTrends and Google Analytics
