Software Project Manager

Stable and Growing International company is seeking for a Professional Project Manager to lead its Software Development team.

Interested candidates should be high energy, self starters who are able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong analytical skills will be expected.

This position will be responsible for leading, organizing, managing and creating software developing teams and high quality software. The Project Manager will be working with the implementation and support of custom software products.

Primary Requirement

Candidates must have excellent management skills. To be eligible for this position candidates will have to create, train and maintain an software development department. He will be the leader of the team, managing every aspect of it and will be responsible of keeping it Up-to-Date and maintaining the team at is top efficient point to accomplish the goals required.

Candidates must have strong foundation in PM skills including customer empathy, attention to detail, proven track record of working with core PM/dev/test/Product Planner/Business Development excellent written and oral communication skills and working with internal/external teams.

Job Requirements – Responsibilities - Knowledge

  Excellent Knowledge in: OSX – Windows - PHP – MYSQL – XML – JAVASCRIPT – HTML – Flash.

  
  


• 
  

  Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience.

  
  


• 
  

  Good knowledge in : PostgreSQL – Linux – Ubuntu – Unix – XSL .

  
  


• 
  

  Experience implementing project management methodology.

  
  


• 
  

  Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.

  
  


• 
  

  Candidate must have proven ability to facilitate planning and design sessions with large groups of project team members.

  
  


• 
  

  Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals.

  
  


• 
  

  Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.

  
  


• 
  

  Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and in a timely and clear fashion.

  
  


• 
  

  Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.

  
  


• 
  

  Track project milestones and deliverables.

  
  


• 
  

  Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

  Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

  Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

  Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

  Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

Experience & Qualifications

  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineer or in Computer Science or related areas and

  Preferred Project Management Certifications or

  
  


• 
  

  Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent Management Skills,

  
  


• 
  

  Preferred PMI Certification.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of Project Management Software.

  
  


• 
  

  3 or more years of experience in Project Management positions.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience managing groups of programmers.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working in a team environment to complete projects based on customers specifications.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working to meet or exceed deadlines.

  
  

A Must Requirement

The possible candidate for this position will need to be relocated to Costa Rica. All relocations expenses will be paid for.
