Our client has exclusively engaged us to conduct a search for a Product Search Analyst. 

We are seeking a Product Search Analyst to join our client's growing team. In this position, you’ll be focused on improving their industry-leading product search and automated match capabilities. You’ll work closely with talented teams managing large amounts of retailer product data and search engine experts to tune and refine their product search and match algorithms.  This is a great opportunity for someone who’s passionate about data and wants to use their talents in spotting trends and patterns to continuously improve industry-leading product search capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Improve product search accuracy and relevancy through analysis of search capabilities and product data structures

• Establish metrics and measures across product, search and claims content data sets

• Drive keyword/phrase discovery and analysis to improve match performance

• Analyze and improve search algorithms through analysis of search terms, product data changes and user feedback

• Analyze loss factors contributing to unsatisfactory search results and recommend strategies to address

• Closely collaborate with Search Engineering team, Data team and Product Management to provide visible metrics and implement solutions

Requirements:

• 2 – 4 years experience in Internet marketing, search engine marketing and/or online/e-tailer project management

• Proficient in data modeling using Microsoft Excel and SQL

• Experience with Google Analytics for metrics and creating goals

• Experience establishing search metrics and measurements

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously within an Agile environment

• Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration or equivalent field and experience dealing with statistical analysis preferred

Local candidates to the Boston Area

Compensation – up to $70k
