SEARCH MANAGER / HEAD OF SEARCH / SEO – BRIGHTONWe are looking for a Search Manager / Head of Search to join an international Search Marketing Agency based in Brighton.  Read on...With offices in over 20 countries worldwide, our client is a pioneer within the field of Multilingual Search Engine Marketing, helping leading businesses (Universal Music, Aviva, Discovery Channel, etc.) establish and implement global search marketing strategies.Joining as the Head of Search / Search Manager you will lead an SEO team that plays a pivotal role in creating, implementing, analysing and reporting on Natural / PPC search strategies for global client accounts.  Involved across all things search you will also project manage new search initiatives, including: Setting up a strategy and road map for our client’s search engine team and overseeing the development and implementation of a toolset that improves the efficiency of search services and search engine algorithms.  In more detail, you will:

• Create and execute SEO strategies with the goal of increasing search engine organic traffic and leads.


• Manage all aspects of SEO campaigns from optimising metadata to directing content production and link acquisition.


• Provide input into new, scalable processes that can develop and expand the product and service offerings.


• Work closely with the sales teams, prepare pitches/presentations, attend sales meetings etc.


• Report to senior management on clients results/activity


• Pro-actively up sell services to your client portfolio.


• Research and keep up to date with latest best practice in Search Marketing from around the world.


• Manage, coordinate and motivate all relevant staff.

To qualify...  You’ll be a Search Manager / Head of Search with a strong background working within an agency environment.  A passion for SEO/SEM goes without saying as does a strong all round knowledge in search marketing (a particular emphasis on natural search is desirable).You should also have experience of managing and developing a team, handling clients at a senior level, presenting to win new business and managing projects.
