PayPal is seeking a well-rounded SEO specialist to join the Internet Marketing team. Candidates must have a demonstrated record of quantitative/analytical rigor, creative problem solving, and execution to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal and highly-leveraged role within a dynamic high-performance team.

Job Requirements

• Manage day-to-day aspects of PayPal’s global SEO program:
  
  
  
  • Keyword research and competitive benchmarking
  
  
  • Develop and document detailed website recommendations
  
  
  • Work with content and creative teams to execute recommendations
  
  
  • Measure and report on business impact (ROI)
  
  
  
  


• Work cross-functionally to align SEO goals with global Marketing, Product and Technology strategy


• Develop global SEO strategy for PayPal web properties (e.g. PayPal.com, PayPal.ca, and X.com)


• Continuous analysis and optimization of global SEO efforts and results - derive actionable insights and programs to increase rank, drive traffic, and ultimately customer acquisition and engagement


• Track, report, and analyze SEO performance on a weekly basis


• Coordinate with global SEO counterparts at the entire family of eBay companies

The ideal candidate should be highly motivated with demonstrated strong academic history and professional performance. The position requires someone who is highly analytical, motivated, organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work in fast-paced environment.

• 5+ years of work experience in Search Engine Optimization


• Bachelors/Advanced degree (with evidence of strong performance)


• Deep understanding of SEO and web technologies


• Very strong orientation to details


• Impeccable project management skills with an aptitude to manage multiple projects simultaneously


• Experience leading, inspiring and influencing cross-functional teams


• Must have impeccable writing, presentation and communication skills


• Experience collaborating with software engineers and IT professionals (and speak their language)


• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems with innovative solutions


• Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives


• Fluent in multiple languages a plus (specifically Spanish, French, Portuguese)


• Fun, energetic and collaborative personality


• Active participant in the Blog community a plus
