SEO Analyst

JOB SUMMARY
The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Analyst specializes in Internet site traffic measurement tools, maintains an understanding of research methodologies, and is able to transfer research data into actionable, well-written documents and presentations. This position works closely with the Marketing Team and company Webmaster. Site traffic information is used throughout our organization to optimize site usage and navigation, and increase knowledge of our site audiences.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Analyze website performance, trends and click stream path activity to provide data driven business insights leading to improvements to the website experience for all Guest Services websites.
· Provide daily, weekly, monthly, traffic patterns, site metrics, marketing performance, and opportunities for improvement.
· Monitor social media websites (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and blogs ensuring company branding, while updating multiple content and posts. Seek and collect information for reporting.
· Develop best practice approaches for analyzing user behavior on the websites.
· Create and maintain key reports and analyses utilizing specific reporting tools.
· Create various templates and send email blasts for various units using Constant Contact.
· Assist in assignments with company Webmaster with web content maintenance, page-layout maintenance, navigation changes, etc.
SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
· Work requires general knowledge of marketing principles and practices generally obtained through completion of a Bachelor's degree program in a marketing or business-related field.
· 3-5 years related experience and/or formal training. Experience with web analysis tools (Google Analytics, etc.). Strong customer orientation and grasp of marketing fundamentals.
· Effective communication and organizational skills. Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people; ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities; ability to problem solve.
· Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook) required. Proficiency with HTML and CSS; familiarity with web development environments and Flash is preferred. Photoshop and graphic skills are preferred (InDesign).
· Strong knowledge of cross-browser environments (Firefox, IE, Netscape, AOL, Chrome).
· Demonstrated advertising and public relations experience. Superior copy writing, editing, and graphic design skills. Passionate interest in electronic commerce and one-to-one marketing.
