Position Overview

The eCommerce SEM/PPC Specialist will work closely with the eCommerce marketing team to provide client support to FillTek eCommerce retail clients. As a leading end-to-end eCommerce provider to several leading brands, the position will provide support to FillTek clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

            Pay Per Click Duties

• Create, manage and optimize PPC campaigns, including PPC copywriting, bid management, PPC reporting and analysis


• Manage keyword research for clients


• Develop and implement PPC strategies


• Maintain detailed budgets for PPC campaigns

Email Campaign Duties

·         Develop and implement detailed email campaigns for clients, including list management, email analysis and creating email calendar schedules

·         Develop and maintain client email budgets

·         Work with eCommerce creative team and client to develop email templates for campaigns

Job Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or relevant experience


• Five years or more experience managing client email and PPC campaigns


• Experience working with affiliate marketing programs


• Experience with Google analytics, reporting, data analysis and client account setup


• Basic understanding of CAN-SPAM regulations a plus


• Experience in SEO strategy and analysis a plus


• Experience in bid management and web analytics tools

Skills & Competencies

• Proven ability to interface with clients as well as IT/technical teams.


• Attention to detail and ability to maintain brand integrity.


• Ability to proofread and perform quality assurance.


• Ability to communicate to internal and external customers in a professional manner.


• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at one time in a fast paced environment.


• Proven ability to work with Google AdWords, Google Analytics, search engine ranking tools, and SEO methodology.


• Knowledge of basic html code a plus.


• Ability to analyze effectiveness of email and PPC campaigns, landing page quality, lead and traffic quality, etc.


• Demonstrated ability to understand search engine ranking algorithms and how search engine spiders work.


• Must be a team player and able to work well independently and as part of a team.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
