The role


 


As the Head of SEO you will be required to deliver sophisticated strategies, get your hands dirty on campaigns and build a team around yourself.  You will be responsible for:


 


·         All aspects of SEO management including, but not limited to, keyword research, link building, on-site reviews, content creation and reporting


·         Managing the company’s SEO and social marketing plans


·         Building and managing a team of search marketers, leading and motivating them


·         Profitably managing search and social marketing activities, with responsibility for implementing and reporting on all campaigns whilst maximising the results of agreed strategies


·         Improving the company's visibility through the blog, website and social networks


·         Providing sales support, when required, to the business development team


·         Working alongside the sales and account management teams to devise search strategies for clients


·         Identifying the best technologies to enhance our services, and to help position us as a leading player in the space


·         Seeking out and embracing fresh and innovative ideas to meet client requirements and to continue to position ourselves as a leading digital performance agency


 


To be considered for the role you must have the following:


 


·         Ability to demonstrate and provide examples of successful SEO campaigns and strategies within competitive markets


·          5+ years of digital advertising experience


·         2+ years of commercial SEO experience


·         Agency or client side background however agency experience is preferred


·         Man-management experience


·         Effective communication manner and a fluid and enthusiastic presentation style


·         Strong analytical skills


·         Strategic mind


·         Financial forecasting and tracking experience


·         A high standard of written and spoken communication
