SEO/SEM SEARCH EXECUTIVE

The Junior SEO/SEM Specialist will work to implement innovative and effective natural SEO strategies and programs including communication planning, competitive analysis, site audits, content and partnership and measurement recommendations. The successful candidate is a hands-on search expert who has a depth of knowledge on the interplay between content, media and technology and uncovers opportunities to affect consumers in a search mindset. With exceptional research, analytical, presentation and communication skills, the SEO/SEM Specialist is a results-driven, self-starter who gets things done.
Responsibilities:
- Co-design scalable search campaign capabilities and pricing including benchmarking and client management tools, metrics and best practices
- Create a platform that ensures continuous build-out and refinement of the offering to maintain first preference competitive advantage and marketplace relevance
- Evangelize and educate search campaign capabilities internally and to clients
- Participate in client and prospect presentations to deliver search strategies and, upon request, scope of work and pricing estimates
- Implement search engagements from briefing through completion, implementing template processes to increase efficiency and quality
- Stay current on emerging search developments and competitive offerings, proactively developing and evangelizing POVs on their use
- Participate in training staff on the capabilities of SEO strategy and content development
Qualifications:
- Google Ad words acredited
- An interest in Search, Media or other relevant digital marketing experience
- At least 1 year working in SEO, SEM or established digital advertising agency experience
- Experience in interactive advertising, site design, content development and measurement as it relates to search
- Knowledge of the search engine space and SEO best practices including paid vs. SEO tactics, keyword analysis, title and meta-tag coding, link building, domain issues, page analysis, site redirection, dynamic site indexing, copywriting and general troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of search engine strategies
- Analytically focused with the ability to recommend and implement optimization tactics from data intensive reporting
- Demonstrated ability to work in a growing, changing and dynamic organization
- Collaborative and comfortable in a cross-functional environment with the ability to create buy-in from multiple constituents
- Track record of conceptualizing and creating new programs, best practices and marketing content
- Traditional or online media experience
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively and persuasively present internally and externally
- Strong MS office skills
