SEO Director:
Our continuously growing team is looking for a passionate individual to join WebMetro as the SEO Director. This position will report directly to the Senior Vice President of eMarketing. WebMetro is a top interactive agency focusing on running high-performance campaigns online for some of the most recognizable brands in the world. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic and tactical leadership to team members, developing and implementing best practices and department policies & procedures.
- Assist clients in building and understanding business goals in relation to SEO strategies and programs.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Manage, motivate and develop a growing team.
- Seek business development opportunities to strengthen and expand existing client relationships.
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to provide business development support for key initiatives and presentations.
- Lead client calls to provide insights and recommendations, and create strategic revenue-driving solutions based on client objectives.
- Identify emerging trends and collaborate with Sales to create innovative new platforms that leverage these trends and drive incremental revenue to the company.
- Develop, implement and manage SEO campaigns, strategies and initiatives.
- Build and maintain project management processes, ensuring streamlined processes over all SEO engagements.
- Work with cross functional departments to develop and track all details of SEO initiatives.
- Develop, manage and provide SEO related reporting for clients and in-house management teams.
- Advise on client strategy and provide SEO expertise to optimize campaign results.
- Coordinate and lead on-boarding meetings for clients to establish program objectives, determine assets, set and clarify expectations, develop timelines and other tactical details.
- Manage creation and execution of overall SEO strategies, in conjunction with senior team leaders.
- Keep up to date on new SEO trends/practices and continually analyze and leverage the opportunities for growing organic traffic.
- Serve as an ambassador and leader for WebMetro in professional organizations within the internet marketing / SEO industry.
- Support Marketing Communications by collaborating and creating interesting, engaging content for case studies, blogs, white papers, and other collateral.
- Implement SEO tactics, such as analysis of keywords, content and meta data, performance tracking, and link building.
- Institute SEO services and guidelines.
- Determine metrics and reporting to measure success.
- Track, analyze and measure the impact of all new SEO initiatives.
- Research new ideas, trends and technologies within the SEO space.
- Stay up-to-date on newest organic search, paid search and social media trends.
- Produce and present SEO presentations for customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience working with Fortune brands preferred.
- Strong project management skills; experience managing multiple projects across departments.
- Strong account management skills; experience managing multiple client engagements at a given time.
- 5 + years experience running large scale SEO operations, with a track record of success.
- A unique blend of strategic thinking, creativity, technical proficiency and operational excellence.
- Deep knowledge and interest in SEO, SEM, and online media, including a curiosity about the latest industry trends, technology and changes.
- Exceptional leadership skills including hiring, motivating, and mentoring team members.
- Ability to establish credibility within teams as a knowledgeable, effective leader that knows where projects are today and where they need to go.
- Must enjoy and be skilled at analysis, data manipulation, and data presentation.
- Solid understanding of search engine ranking factors, algorithms and principals.
- Good connections with the SEO community.
- Strong web analytics skills including experience with Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools and Omniture Web Analytics.
- Strong knowledge of social networking and media services and how to leverage for SEO.
- Outstanding interpersonal, teaming, verbal, presentation and process facilitation skills.
- Highly proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Creative yet analytical – uses data to support and drive recommendations.
