SEO & Social Media Manager

The SEO and Social Media Manager will interact with members of marketing, IT, graphic design and 3rd party vendors to apply industry standard and ethical SEO techniques, including but not limited to, keyword analysis, competitive analysis, optimization of content, optimization of meta tags, linking strategy, and site submission. Additionally, leverage social media to communicate with our client base, build trust, and foster a community. Our ideal candidate must be enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills in a fast paced, challenging environment.?
Responsibilities:
- SEO strategy and implementation.
- Hands-on optimization; improving site structure, page construction, content, keyword lists, and SEO copywriting.
- Top-to-bottom management of SEO campaigns; generating ranking reports, conducting site audits, launching microsites, etc.
- Research, identify and establish partnerships with authoritative web sites for link-building.
- Utilize heatmaps, clickstream data, and other usability tools to improve visitor experience and lead conversion.
- Posting, monitoring and managing corporate Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Wikipedia and other social media accounts.
Background Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in SEO.
- Proven ability to grow SEO for a corporate website.? Ability to show top rankings gained or maintained for competitive keywords and/?or demonstrate how candidate significantly increased SEO traffic to a corporate site.
- Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking strategies.
- Proficient with SEO reporting and analytical tools?, including Google Analytics.
- Ability to generate ranking and traffic analysis reports using MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience with link building campaigns and brainstorming creative ways for link acquisition.
- Website architecture and development experience including HTML/?CSS and content management systems a plus.
- Knowledge of all basic SEO factors that influence results including but not limited to:
- Link building
- Keyword research
- On page and title tag optimization
- Long tail keyword and content strategies
- Localized keyword optimization strategies
- Backlinking strategies
- Indexation issues
- Technical issues – 301s, xml sitemaps, url rewrites
- 4 year college degree or related experience
