The Job

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about SEO, ideally with at least 3 years of proven experience in a similar role working either agency or client side. The candidate will be responsible for executing advanced SEO campaigns for the groups’ e-commerce websites; and therefore must have had proven success in executing Advanced Level SEO Strategy which has had a significant impact on Search Engine Rankings. The candidate should be familiar with SEO for Bing and Yahoo.  This position is pivotal to the success of our online businesses

Responsibilities

·         Conduct in-depth keyword research, analysis, and make relevant recommendations and execution to increase ROI.

·         Initiating, monitoring and managing link acquisition strategies.

·         Perform competitive analysis to help drive future Search Engine strategies.

·         Link building through contacts, partnerships, content generation, and other campaigns.

·         Development of High quality Search Engine friendly content via internal blogs and website copy.

·         Develop, analyze and report on the overall Search Engine Marketing program success with regard to relevant metrics and factors e.g. SEO – SERP increases, Change in Traffic, CTR Increases and Indexed Links.

·         Create keyword rich, on-site copy and work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming.

·         SEO Copywriting, manage content creation and syndication.

·         Site Analytics (Google Analytics / Omniture).

·         Strong MS Excel skills.

Requirements

·         3+ year experience in a dedicated Search Engine Marketing role.

·         Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field desired.

·         Excellent knowledge of the search engine industry, search engine algorithms and ranking strategies.

·         Understanding of web analytics and paid search bid optimization tools.

·         The ability to create reports; understands return on investment; and select relevant data for analysing future actions.

·         Understanding of social media and community websites i.e. Twitter, Facebook, etc.

·         Highly numerate with good attention to detail.

·         Excellent communication skills and team player.

As a SEO Manager, you need to be a fantastic communicator with the ability to explain complex technical details to a non-technical audience. You should be an avid follower of industry blog and have an understanding of the latest developments.
