Full-time User Acquisition & Monetization Specialist

This is a startup company in the emerging social gaming space targeted at sports fans. This is a chance to get in on the ground floor and is intended for someone tired of the same old day-to-day grind. We are looking for people with a strong ability to get things done. All team members are responsible for more than just marketing. Their ideas help shape both our products and our processes. We aren't looking for someone to just pump out documents, we want someone who can also learn from us the things we know, and teach us some of the many we don't. RESPONSIBILITIES - Build strategy for driving organic installs (viral and cross-promotion) and improving monetization - Develop and implement strategies for monetizing free web based games - Become the expert on established and new models for monetizing games by monitoring competitive trends and best practices and third parties tools and partnerships - Analyze app usage trends to identify opportunities to improve engagement, virality, and customer lifetime value - Collaborate with producers and engineers to build monetization tactics and analytics into games - Drive new initiatives for monetizing the customer base, including identifying partnerships to expedite monetization and scaling of the user network - Optimize campaign performance across various marketing mediums including display, SEM, email, and partnerships - Continually test campaign management as well as creative strategies - Collaborate with designers to generate compelling creative that drives user engagement - Plan, evaluate and manage analytics and funnel optimization programs to increase conversion, repeate visits, new users, viral distribution and life time value - Apply expertise in online, social, and game marketing to devise innovative and efficient marketing campaigns










REQUIREMENTS: - 3-5 years of hand-on marketing experience in a user acquisition focused role - Strong product management & strategic analysis skills with a demonstrated ability to map an understanding of business drivers to prioritized requirements and product roadmap - A well-rounded individual with a B.S. (graduate degree a plus) in a quantitative field (Math/Stats, Mgmt Science, Economics, Bus. Admin., Marketing, Engineering, or similar) - Passion for figuring out how to grow a business and become a market leader in the highly dynamic mobile and gaming space - Passion for the web, social media, and online games - Results and metrics driven with experience with A/B or Multivariate testing - Self-starter with ability to thrive under pressure in a fast paced environment
