The qualified individual should be able to successfully thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented business environment. Our Digital Services team works exceptionally hard to increase web traffic, enhance market visibility and realize incredible results for our clients through online advertising and interactive marketing. Description SEO Strategist will be responsible for creating the overall online strategy for both organic and paid search efforts as well as social media endeavors. This person MUST have a proven SEO background (not entry level). Major Job Responsibilities • Creation of optimization strategies for new and existing clients • Analyze client websites and provide well-defined strategies to improve site conversion and ROI. • Provide detailed documentation on • QA of deliverables implemented by web designers/developers • Educate clients on industry trends and best practices and overall education of SEO • Work with internal resources and attend occasional off site client meetings • Maintain an understanding of industry trends and research industry related media. • Represent the agency in business presentations, blogs, forums, and by authoring online publications. Skills: Knowledge/Technical Skills • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and other programming languages • Experience in keyword research and development • Experience with leading search engine analysis and ranking, software. • Strong understanding of Website development techniques, SEO tools, and site analytics principles • Must be knowledgeable of and practice ethical SEO techniques Education/Experience • 2 year college degree or equivalent work experience • 2+ years experience in organic search management including keyword research • 2+ years experience in bid management for paid search campaigns
