Full-time Web Analytics Specialist

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Web Analytics Specialist to join the Product Development team.  This newly created role will focus on customer insights through the use of analytics tools and online benchmarking.  From this analysis, the role would also advise the company’s ecommerce strategy driving efficiency and conversion.  In addition, the Web Analytics Specialist also needs to stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices. 


Your key accountabilities will be to:



  • Implement and configure web analytics tools so that they are tracking  optimally 

  • Manage & execute measurement strategy, identifying data requirements and KPI for specific projects

  • Develop reports and provide recommendations on how to optimise the website, based on user journey and path to conversion

  • Work with the team to troubleshoot problematic areas on the site

  • Introduce multivariate testing to improve the member experience and increase conversions

  • Monitor referral traffic from display, email, SEO, PPC, affiliate and social to analyse site conversion effectiveness and identify areas for improvement

  • Advise the business on improvements about website intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activity


 


To be successful you will have: 



  • 2+ years previous experience in a Web Analyst position – this is essential

  • Previous experience with Google Analytics/?Site Catalyst/?Web Trends /NetInsight required (at least one) 

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of JavaScript and HTML

  • Excellent statistical analysis skills

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel for data manipulation and analysis

  • Good understanding of digital marketing (affiliate marketing, SEM, display advertising, social media, SEO and email marketing)

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
