We are looking for a seasoned SEO/PPC Internet Marketing Specialist to join our Agency.

The specific duties include:

* Understand the client’s product, markets, the competitors, and their marketing objectives and goals.

* Identify and develop the most effective and cost-efficient SEO strategy to achieve the client’s objectives and goals. Insure the strategy is integrated with the client’s holistic marketing strategy.

* Coordinate SEO strategies and implementations with other active digital media.

* Work with analytics team to evaluate the success of the SEO strategy, and recommend enhancements.

* Implement and manage paid search (SEM) campaigns across multiple vendors such as Google AdWords and Bing adCenter.

* Analyze click-through rates and conversion across multiple platforms; quickly synthesize results and propose daily or intraday changes to optimize performance; Implement approved changes.

* Support display advertising campaigns by monitoring paid search activity and performance.

* Propose, deploy and manage A/B testing of messaging and landing page analysis across various terms and ad groups.

* Work with web analytics team to prepare paid search tracking reports for senior management, creating new reports as needed.

* Generate ad hoc reporting and analyses from paid search tools to support web site merchandising and sales strategy.

* Bid management, Keyword updates, creative copywriting, landing page optimization suggestion and analysis

* Monitor for click fraud, build business case against vendor and manage dispute and resolution process as needed.

* Stay aware of industry trends in Search Engine (both SEM and SEO) Marketing space.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills/experience:

* Writing, editing & proofreading SEO copy for websites

* Developing targeted meta tags, alt tags and optimizing web content for search

* Conducting basic keyword research and interpret internal keyword reports

* Writing search engine link bait page copy

* Understanding of HTML / CMS tools

* Link Building

* Working with web experience / Creative / Marketing teams to develop SEO campaigns

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) required.

Business Software Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

Agency Experience: Three years of experience in SEO. Agency experience as a customer, partner, or employee of an advertising firm highly preferred.

This is a permanent role offering a competitive salary (reviewed annually) & employee benefit package (IRA, flexible spending accounts, vacation, sick, medical, dental, etc.). Individuals in this position will be expected to work 40-50 hours per week. Successful candidates are subject to a full background investigation and drug-test (conducted by a third party), prior to commencing employment. This position is open to candidates in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, or to candidates nationally who are willing to relocate to Minneapolis at their own expense (this job is not relocation assistance eligible).
