Scope - This position will provide strategic and tactical guidance to the business by tracking and analyzing consumer traffic on all Simplexity websites. The analyst will utilize various technical tools to uncover trends and provide insight that will maximize online marketing efforts and optimize site performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide insightful, actionable analysis across a wide variety of marketing channels and sites, including paid & organic search, online advertising, email, partner and affiliate programs


• Integrate multiple data sources including online activity, inside sales, surveys, and order information to establish a complete picture of customer behavior aimed at improving conversion rates and overall business value


• Assist in planning and analysis of live site testing to optimize pricing, messaging, and design tactics


• Continuously examine and validate accuracy of the underlying data set


• Regularly communicate website performance information to a wide variety of internal audiences


• Identify opportunities for performance improvement, partnering with marketing & sales to support a business case

·         Manage delivery of weekly performance reporting to quantify the impact of marketing & business adjustments

·         Provide education & training to business stakeholders to aid in more effective data interpretation

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years website analysis experience, preferably in a e-commerce environment


• Excellent communication, presentation and data visualization skills

·         Experience with clickstream analysis tools such as Omniture, Google, WebTrends, or CoreMetrics is required

·         Familiarity with Omniture Insight / Visual Sciences is a plus

• Ability to provide data-driven, informed recommendations and creative solutions to data challenges


• Solid understanding of online and offline marketing and analytics best practice


• A collaborative team player possessing the ability to partner with cross-functional business customers


• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint


• Aptitude to balance multiple projects independently, both short and long term
