Senior Statistician - Up to P95,000 - Real World Application & Great Cause(Makati City)

Responsibilities: 

As a Senior Statistician for our sister company, supporting our US operations, you will be responsible for performing detailed analysis and providing metrics to support decisions in pricing different goods based on market demand. You will work closely with managers to understand business needs, analyze sales results, develop actionable plans, analyze results and present findings.

Responsibilities: 

• Process collected sales data and develop effective pricing models


• Own and optimize existing statistical models (e.g., cross-sell model) to drive meaningful increases in revenue and contribution margin


• Serve as methodology "guru" across Marketing to identify and implement statistical models, techniques, tools and methodologies that improve our efficiency and effectiveness in regards to purchasing and selling goods.


• Continuously monitor niche market supply/demand and modify existing models in order to increase profit margins when buying and selling goods


• Develope effective matrix system for analyzing pricing data


• Be the driving force behind increase of company's profit margins. 

Requirements:

• Masters or doctorate in Statistics, Applied Math or other quantitative field


• 4+ years of technical, analytical work experience in a related field


• Demonstrated ability in applying statistical techniques to real-world business data


• Expert knowledge of statistics (regression, segmentation, time series, decision trees, conjoint, cluster, factor, discriminant, simultaneous equations, dynamic models, etc.)


• Robust understanding of sampling and testing methodologies


•  Effective interpersonal communication 


• Ability to manage multiple tasks/project management capability


• Passionate, curious and driven personality with demonstrated results focus


• Experience in creating standardized processes
