The Ohio Society of CPAs is seeking a technology intern to assist the Webmaster with keeping the organization’s website updated on a daily basis, and to assist the company with its social media strategy by updating OSCPA’s various social media profiles.

Qualifications needed: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Excellent computer skills with the ability to adapt to new technology quickly

·         Minimal HTML knowledge a plus, but not required

·         Self-starter, self-motivated and flexible

·         Troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

·         Assist with keeping the website updated daily

·         Support the webmaster with maintaining internal support with various website functions

·         Assist with posting/publishing articles on the OSCPA website

·         Writing on technology related products and news for IT blog and newsletter

·         Assist with maintaining OSCPA’s social media profiles on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and three Society hosted blogs

·         Deliver weekly website reporting; and website reports upon request

·         Assist fellow IT staff as needed

Work hours:

·         Summer: M-F, 8 am – 5 pm.

·         School year: flexible dependent on student’s class schedule

Internship length:

·         Now through January 2010
