Job Description

Local.com Sr. Product Managers build products! Local.com is looking for entrepreneurial Sr. Product Managers to help us connect consumer and local businesses online using search, social, and mobile. We need passionate Sr. Product Managers to focus on user acquisition and engagement. As a product manager, your responsibilities will include gathering requirements, helping to define a product vision and strategy, and working with world-class engineers to execute that strategy. This position is full time and based at our headquarters in Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products. • Establish shared vision across company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution. • Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers and designers. • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction. • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products. • Understand Local.com’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized best in the industry. • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.

Required Skills Requirements:

Requirements:• BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field (MS is a plus)• At least 5-10 years experience in a product management role related to building online products• Keen understanding of the most recent trends around consumer and local business online usage including experience with social, search, user personalization, and mobile.• Understanding of the technical architecture of complex and highly scalable web applications and/or media products• Experience designing simple and intuitive user interfaces – ability to create examples through wire frames and mock ups• Experience developing social & mobile: products, technologies and platforms • Exceptional communication and presentation skills• Outstanding leadership skills• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills• Exceptional data skills
